Correlation between union membership and state deficits
Here’s a great chart that maps the state, whether it has deficits, and what sort of union participation it has.
Any correlation? Go see for yourself!
Also on deck, do studies show that WI public employees make more than their counterparts? Stats are not so clear. And if they’re not so clear, than that’s a pretty good argument that at the very least some closer looks should be done before it’s flat out assumed they’re making more. If it’s not obviously clear on the data, then it’s not an obvious argument.
