Off The Shelf Interview

offtheshelf.jpg

I popped into Second Life recently to do an interview with the cool folks who run the Off The Shelf podcast and show. We talked about my novels, what it’s like to write a Halo novel, and other interesting topics. You can hear the podcast here.

My thanks to the hosts Simeon Bereford and Kghia Gherardi, as well as to Otenth Paderborn for handling the technical side of things.

It’s been a while since I’ve been in Second Life, mainly due to health and then a heavy workload to be juggled between the twins and everything else. First Life is certainly overwhelming the ability to play in SL, but I still find it a fascinating social environment, and if I were a beginning writer, would totally using this to hold a workshop environment and virtual meeting place for peers.

As I told Emily after I logged off, it was fantastic to do an interview, do Q/A with the audience, and then not have a long drive home.
