Ego Friday: The Cole Protocol on the NYT bestseller list

I get a big ego boost for “ego Fridays” this week. As is being reported around the web in places like this website and a plugged in Mr. Scalzi and Mur Lafferty, Halo: The Cole Protocol hit the NYT bestseller list in Trade Paperback at #4. This should appear in the Dec. 14 NYT issue. I wasn’t expecting to be able to tell that news for a week, but I now see it online in various places and feel I can share. Woot!

And according to Early Word, TCP also placed on the USA Today list, and was #6 on Trade Paperback fiction at Publishers Weekly.

Mark, when will you buy the rest of it? :-)

Great news. Congratulations and may you have many more!

I was going to say “many happy returns” but that is an oxymoron when it comes to writers. Unless one means “returns to the list” but even then it’s a bit too ambiguous for my preference.
