Journal Entry
Podcast interview goodness
October 8th 2008 at 11:29 am
I’ve been falling behind on linkage, been a scattered last week and weekend, but I’m pulling ahead. I have two podcast interviews to point you at, for the interested:
The first is SciFi Dimensions interview with me. John Snider was really awesome, and I thought we had a great interview that covered all sorts of ground.
John also reviewed Sly Mongoose:
Sly Mongoose is an entertaining space opera filled with intriguing scientific possibilities, good characterization, intricate political maneuvering, and lots of derring-do and adrenaline asskickery.
I apologize to John for not linking this last week, when it went live!
Going live tonight is another interview. I sat down with David Slusher of the Reality Break Podcast while at DragonCon and talked about Sly Mongoose.
This was another interesting and in depth conversation.
Still working on my ‘uhs.’ I’ve been training them out, but I’m still not where I need to be for a more pleasing podcast voice. It’s so hard not to do when you’re mentally reaching for a new thought or a word that doesn’t come easily in a conversation. One has to remember the momentary pause works better with audio.
