Metatropolis: The Dawn of Uncivilization

Audible’s Steve Feldberg just passed on permission to blog the cover of the upcoming Audible.com project that John Scalzi, Elizabeth Bear, Karl Schroeder, Jay Lake and I wrote, and I think it looks pretty damn awesome:

Metatropolis

Details coming over the next week will include cool bits of information like who the narrators are for the various awesome stories, and when the project specifically launches.

Have a great weekend!

Have a great weekend? I’m in the process of moving. I feel like the lower half of that cover photo. I still don’t have any idea about when I’ll be allowed to start moving in to my new place.

Also complicating that is fact that Thalia needs to be home tommorow since she has a cold: cough, runny nose, mild fever. 3 mins ago

I fell asleep at 7:30pm and woke up at 12:30 due to coughing kid. Awake now. Will be interesting to see when I get tired. 4 mins ago

Of course, I'm risking cliche. But these are the travails of being an entertainer: in realism vs keep story moving, moving wins 6 mins ago

Mmm. The extended rise to leader of army plot sequence in this novella will be cut in favor of Duel To Death! Other way is long/boring. :) 8 mins ago

Thalia's home today sick. Poor kid. Poor Toby's deadline LOL. 11 hrs ago
