Hello from your factory line assembler?
August 27th 2008 at 9:54 am
At a MacRumors forum someone booted up an iPhone and found photos already in their brand new, packaged iPhone… of the person who on the assembly line who packaged the phone.

There is so much to sit and unpack about this idea (factory workers, a device crossing the world, the world being flat, a sort of artistic piece of communications experiment about the person making the device communicating to the person who has gotten it, the sort of cheerfulness the worker has about pranking here), I’m not sure, but it seems somewhat neat. I hope the girl in question doesn’t get in trouble for doing it.

Seems like this is just begging to be combined with a “Little Alf” scenario.

She looks so happy. I didn’t smile half that much when I worked in a factory.

It does seem more cheerful and personal than slipping into the box a tiny piece of paper that says “Inspected by #420″

She’s got rubbers on her fingers and booties on her toes.
Kind of like the kind version of LCD Picture Frame that loaded viruses on people’s computers. Although it could have been a test picture as a part of QC. No reason why it would have to be boring.

I wonder what the Taiwanese version of, “Schlemiel, schlamazzel, Hossenfeffer Incorporated,” is?

She’s not showing her factory fingers. Chinese people almost always give the peace sign (or victory sign) in photos. I don’t know why!
