Sly Mongoose trailer, with sound

December 27th 2007 at 2:01 pm

My big thanks to everyone who provided links, suggestions, and music samples for this Sly Mongoose trailer. That was all very helpful.

Mike Wooley, who does the opening credits soundtrack for Cult Pop scored a soundtrack here for the trailer, and I liked it enough to declare him the winner.

So here is Sly Mongoose, with music:

Here’s the link to the YouTube page, where you can find embed code and whatnot to share it around as you see fit!

I am thinking of doing trailers now for Crystal Rain and Ragamuffin after I get the copyedits for Sly Mongoose done over this break.

Sweet! Not that I wasn’t *already* gonna read it, but… now you’ve got me all impatient. ;)

Tobias, very nicely done, congrats! My inner geek was wondering what software you used to make the book trailer?

Hope your holidays are going well.

Mike did a great job, your video is very cool! I have always loved the open he did for CULT POP. I will see you at Confusion 08.

This sounds pretty great, and the trailer is much better with it. Having a score done specifically for the trailer was a pretty good idea, it works really well.

Something about the score reminded me of the soundtrack to The Fountain, which is a good thing!

    Very impressive!

Freakin’ sweet trailer, man. The music just adds something to it. It fits perfectly.

I can’t wait to read your books.
