Dragonpage interview
I’m interviewed by the cool folks over at the Cover to Cover podcast at Dragonpage, where I talk about Ragamuffin, Sly Mongoose, and the Caribbean inspirations for the first two books.
It feels like I just did the interview yesterday, but it was actually last Wednesday.

Um? Airships on Venus? Completely awesome…
Speaking of airships, George Mann and others are talking about steampunk as a genre, sub-genre, etc on his blog. I think you’d have much wisdom to bring.
A link you say? Uh….

Interesting discussion. I use steampunk, but I’m really skittish about identifying it.
Frankly, my favorite piece of steampunk is a section of Alastair Reynold’s Chasm City, future hard sf steampunk, and for my next 2 novels, I think I’m going to dabble down that direction a bunch.
I think its an aesthetic as much as anything.
