I think they’re fabulous, with the right company and the right attitude. And a car that won’t break down along the way….

As long as you have good music and plenty of people to take driving shifts, Hit the Road. A excellent destination helps but with the right company any destination or lack thereof can work.

Road trips are the best. America’s answer to rail travel. I’m a huge Kerouac fan and am still waiting to take my idealized roadtrip.

Everyone should drive across the country at some time. It should be a patriotic duty, like takes and going to one baseball game a decade.
