Gerrib, Vogt on Crystal Rain and Ragamuffin

June 29th 2007 at 2:01 pm

Josh Vogt writes:

I just wanted to let you know (as I saw the call out for reviews) that I posted a review of Crystal Rain, with the promise of an upcoming review for Ragamuffin on my blog, which, while I can’t promise to be too high-traffic, still gets a few eyeballs. Thanks for the great stories. They’re some of the best science fiction reads I’ve managed to get my hands on in a long time, and I’m already looking forward to Sly Mongoose.

You can see his review on his blog.

Chris Gerrib, who floats around the weblog here, also has posted his comments on Ragamuffin here.

Tobias Buckell, author of the outstanding SF novel Crystal Rain, now in paperback, has delivered yet another exciting novel, Ragamuffin.

You’ll have to forgive me about the all-Ragamuffin all the time thing going on here, I’ve been quite bowled over by all the positive reviews, and since I linked to reviews both good and bad for Crystal Rain, linking to the stream of people who are having fun is a guilty pleasure right now.

And I’m actually future-posting many of these, or I’d just be vomiting them up onto the blog.

I am practicing restraint, I swear!

I read the first third of Crystal Rain. It’s a fun ride :) I will pick it up when I have two pennies to rub together to make a fire. ;)
