Journal Entry
Books for reviewers
If you are interested in reviewing my books, or helping spread the word, I would love to get your information! I have a bunch of copies of Crystal Rain, and a bunch of copies of Ragamuffin here that are set aside for people.
If you haven’t reviewed or read Crystal Rain, and you have a blog, are involved in a large forum, or are a reviewer (online or off), email me at tobias@tobiasbuckell.com with your address and information about where you would review it.
If you haven’t reviewed or read Ragamuffin, and you have a blog, are involved in a large forum, or are a reviewer (online or off), email me at tobias@tobiasbuckell.com with your address and information about where you would review it.
I have 23 copies of Crystal Rain reserved for this, and 16 copies of Ragamuffin.
I’ll post a message up on this post when I have run out of copies.
And please feel free to pass the word around that I have copies here earmarked for people to review.

Also complicating that is fact that Thalia needs to be home tommorow since she has a cold: cough, runny nose, mild fever. 8 hrs ago
I fell asleep at 7:30pm and woke up at 12:30 due to coughing kid. Awake now. Will be interesting to see when I get tired. 8 hrs ago
Of course, I'm risking cliche. But these are the travails of being an entertainer: in realism vs keep story moving, moving wins 8 hrs ago
Mmm. The extended rise to leader of army plot sequence in this novella will be cut in favor of Duel To Death! Other way is long/boring. :) 8 hrs ago
Thalia's home today sick. Poor kid. Poor Toby's deadline LOL. 20 hrs ago

I have a blog that nobody reads, would that count?

I’m not going to ask for Ragamuffin because I haven’t done a Crystal Rain review yet. It wouldn’t be right.

Too late for me – I’ve read and reviewed both (Ragamuffin review is up now.) I will post this on my blog.

Just bought a copy of Ragamuffin yesterday. Oh well, that’s life. Much as I love free stuff, supporting authors and local bookstores is definitely good, so I’m not exactly crushed.

I haven’t read either and would love to review them, but I feel guilty about asking an author to mail me free books across the Atlantic…

I’m not sure if this is still going but I figured I’d send a mail and see what happens…
Just finished ‘Ragamuffin’ last night and really enjoyed it!

Hello, Mr. Buckell.
I am reading Ragamuffin now; it was a review assignment for the SFRA Review. I like it.
I’m going to try to make it to ConText in Columbus, OH, this Saturday, and I just noticed that you are on the guest list.
If you’re bringing any along, I would be happy to have a copy of Crystal Rain to augment the review for SFRAR; I can also post a brief review of Crystal Rain on my blog (http://esmeraldus.blogspot.com/), which has had over 20,000 hits in the past three years.
I can’t guarantee my attendance at ConText, but I *am* planning to be there.
best,
Stacie Hanes
