Hi, I’m enjoying posting the RTF versions of Ragamuffin up for people to read, but I would love some help with turning it into RTF. I also am interested in turning the first 1/3 of Crystal Rain, which is in PDF, into RTF as well.

Tor has given me permission again to post the first third of my novel Ragamuffin for free as a sampler. I’ll be posting one chapter a weekday until the whole first third of the novel is up online for people to read.

Here is a cool thing. You know when you type in your password and then type in a random phrase off a picture on the webpage to create an account or login to Blogger.com? Now people are allowing you to also help fix old scanned in documents and rare books that OCR fails on.

Here is a bizarre book burning by a booklover and bookstore owner that makes a twisted sort of sense, if viewed through a lens of PR and protest against reading apathy.
What are your reactions?
Mine was ‘ewww, bookburning’ and then ‘huh, he’s got a point’ followed by ‘but bookburning…’

Bluffton Public Library Ragamuffin book launch party
