Realtor Time

May 31st 2006 at 8:46 am

After several weeks of having shown the house to some individuals, none of whom jumped or moved forward on the house, we decided to bring in a realtor. We have some cleaning as the past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind of me being gone and it being finals week for Emily.

Hopefully this will help move the house sooner. Being in a cheaper house is part of the freelance strategy…

Have you ever watched “Designed to Sell” on HGTV? The show explains how to stage a house for selling (cleaning, painting, landscaping, etc.) on a budget between one to two thousand dollars.

Good luck with the house sale. A good realtor is usually well worth the commission because they save you a lot of time and worry and hopefully even get you a better price.

Brad: no, I haven’t seen that, I actually don’t have cable :-) sounds interesting though!

Ray: thanks, I’m hoping the realtor makes it worth it. At this point its nice to have someone else jumping in to handle that side of things so we can worry about some other stuff.
