Second Book Sold To TOR
January 31st 2005 at 11:45 am
Some of you may remember that I’d worked on the proposal for book 2, called Ragamuffin, back in April/March 2004, and notice that I’m slowly getting up to steam on writing the book this month. The good news is that TOR is taking Ragamuffin! The turn in date for Ragamuffin will be September 22nd, 2005.
Crystal Rain is what I call my ‘far future Caribbean steampunk’ novel, and Ragamuffin will be my ‘far future Caribbean space opera.’
I’m very excited that TOR is interested in the second book.
I’m even more excited that it looks like we’re probably going to get the same cover artist. I have to thank both my editor and the art director for being so insanely cool to a first timer.
