January 31st 2005 at 11:45 am

Some of you may remember that I’d worked on the proposal for book 2, called Ragamuffin, back in April/March 2004, and notice that I’m slowly getting up to steam on writing the book this month. January 31st 2005 at 10:48 am

Cory Doctorow was kind enough to blurb Crystal Rain last week and had this to say:

Sarah Weinman points out that NBC and Reed Business International are creating an authors and books version of the red carpet TV awards shows called The Quills. Now there is a very interesting idea. I like it, I think that more attention like that is good. It reminds readers books are still out there. It […]

Hugo voting is now up and running at the Interaction website for last years attendees and those who’ve purchased memberships for this year already. In case you are interested I have three stories eligible, two of which you can read without ordering the anthology they were in (Necahual and Her). If you would like to […]

Erin and the Dinosaurs

January 25th 2005 at 10:33 pm

It was Wednesday morning when Erin noticed the dinosaurs in her kitchen.

Jon Hansen’s latest story is up at the Abyss & Apex, and I love his first line, enough that I think it also be titled ‘Dinosaurs In The Kitchen…’
