					<description>They're probably worried about the cost of testing. The profit margin on beef cattle is so slim that decisions about a $5 dose of antibiotics are make-or-break for the farmer. When you're talking about applying a test to all of the millions of cattle slaughtered in the US, people will want to know who is paying for it. I think the dangers of mad cow disease have probably been exaggerated by the media.
