BBC New | Gay Showdown

BBC New | Gay Showdown for US church. I know news agencies work hard for their titles, but for some reason this one just made me think of bishops in tight spandex leaping off of elastic ropes to smack into each other. “Next month, live on pay tv, US Church gay showdown 2003, in this corner…”
I’ll stop. On one level it is funny. On the other, sad social commentary.
