I’m plugging away at taxes

I’m plugging away at taxes through HR Block. Thankfully I’ve been keeping good records this and was able to just generate a category list in Quicken to see what income vs loss I’ve had with writing.

I made a little less than what I usually make a year on writing, and pretty much spent all but $3 of that on conventions, hotels, postage, and webserving.

Actually, if I declare miles driven on my car I could probably end up $300-$400, but I’m not going to declare car travel this year because I really haven’t driven as much as I did the previous years, plus I changed cars and it just seems like a headache to go through all those mileage figures again, I’ll just let the government have it.

So this is the first year of profit.

Hey, I’m doing better than Amazon.com, they’ve been losing millions for years.
