Moving on… here’s a link on what it is like to have ADD or ADHD: What It Is Like To Have ADD. This is pretty interesting, pretty much about what being in my head is like most of the time. The interesting thing about ADD is the uncanny ability to do the complete opposite of what we’re often infamous or well known for, which is laser-like focus.

School is a complete cock-up for the average above average IQ ADD individual.

I’ve avoided testing and whatnot most of my life because of the stigma attached to it. But recently I’ve realized it is the reason I am so well read (I read through class, too bored, it allowed my to use my visual imagination), and why I became a writer (when teachers took the books away from me I pretended to write notes, but actually spent most of my time in high school writing short stories on note paper). I also have no sense of time. It doesn’t bug me. It bugs just about every one else in the world.

I’ve always wondered what the ratio of ADHD, right-brained writers was. We seem to be the right candidates. At least the ones who want to stay up all night, have no schedule, and are eccentric are…
