Journal Entry

I opened the email this

May 28th 2002 at 3:38 pm

I opened the email this morning to get a rejection from Realms of Fantasy, in the form of a reply to a query. They now track their submissions. Snappy response too. And I was also very pleasantly surprised to find a request for submissions in my box from a formerly closed market to me.

Life in the world around me continues to be interesting. Point in case, this is just what I uncovered this morning on my rounds:

The Tasmanian Tiger’s on the comeback. The Aussies are making strides towards getting their very own cloned Taz! Good on ya, mates. Unfortunatly they may want to consider this before they get their hopes too high.

Even more interesting, the first human clones are scheduled to come online sometime around Dec/Jan of this year. If I hear one more goddamn newspaper use the tagline ‘SF becoming fact’ I will puke.

There is even more water on Mars than we thought! Manned mission anyone? Who knows. The goverment-run side of things isn’t particularly flashy these days, even despite a bill asking for an asteroid mission then a Mars Mission. Mars by 2022 or bust.

But maybe Rocket Guy will fire things up a bit. Backyard inventors rock.

Till next time…
