Been sick all week(since Mondary

Been sick all week(since Mondary night)! Yech. Some throat infection. Down for the count. Still icky feeling right now, hard to stay focused. So I didn’t get -any- writing done, spent a lot of time asleep, or watching 10 minute snips of TV all week long as I fell in and out stupor.

So finishing this wee story I’m working on, getting started on rewriting another, and continuing novel work, suddenly seems absolutely daunting and huge, whereas before they were just lined up projects to hurdle, another challenge.

I hate being sick. And the pain of it is, I’m still icky! A whole friggin week! Lost. Gone. I prefer tropical illnesses where I would get violently scary sick for a day or two, then be peppy after that. This week of sickness, and then the after-yuck feeling hanging overhead that you get in the midwest sucks. I know I’ll be coughing for another week and sucking on Halls like there is no tomorrow.

Sheesh. The weather here was responsible, I think. It went from balmy 80s degree weather to hail and 30s in a frigging day and a half. I can’t keep up with that. That was like the third swing. I just crashed.

This was not the weather we were designed for.
