Rejections from Analog, and Spectrum

Rejections from Analog, and Spectrum SF. I’m having a slower year of rejections than usual (14 so far I think). I’m a little bit more sloppy with sending things out. I need to fix that, but I’ve been so focused on the novel (which I’m expecting to finish May 15th) I’ve let that slip. Ah well.

A friend of mine made an interesting comment to me over email, that he was involved in x,y, and z projects, and busy, but found that allowed him to write more, not less. I’ve found that about right, although you have to find the right balance. But I’ve been reading more, and keeping rather busy this last month, and enjoying the challenges. It’s even better once you learn scheduling. That helped. I’m still running about a perpetual 15 minutes late for everything in life, but that is much better than the ‘not showing up for things’ type of person I used to be.
