One step along the way
November 29th 2001 at 5:06 am
One step along the way knocked down: I finished the synopsis and outline for the proposal. Now I’m on to slice down the second chapter a bit, add a 3-400 word in the first piece, and see how I feel after I print it all out.Did I mention I’m very happy with the synopsis? Well I am. I even changed the end of the novel a bit, after some due consideration I realized I was reaching for straws a bit the last time, and while it could have been pulled off, I found a much more intuitive wrap up that follows on the hints dropped in several other locations of the novel. While I was out surfing yesterday I stumbled across a website were someone had this to say about my writing:”I’d also recommend browsing the archives [of Speculon.com] for “All Her Children Fought”, by Tobias S. Buckell, which was wonderful … a rich examination of extraordinary situations and the well-developed characters that dwell within them. Excellent :-)”Now that’ll make your day, eh?
