Journal Entry
Okay, it’s been a while
August 24th 2001 at 5:00 am
Okay, it’s been a while since I’ve last posted. However, I have not been slacking. Well, at least not much. For those faithful of you who check my newsgroup (and if you don’t, shame :-), you will know I’ve been real good about sticking to my schedule, except for a slight hiccup this weekend. My car died. Needed a new alternator and battery. The $150 came right off my credit card. I was banking on some of that to help pay for the airfare to Worldcon. The other idiotic thing I’ve done is wait until the very last minute to get planetickets. So sue me, it’s been a long week.
So my itenarary is a bit tripped up. But I got great deals through Priceline. $150 round trip from Columbus to Philly for me. I’m leaving Friday, so I’ll miss a panel I’m schedule for. Emily’s ticket… I got bolder on that, and got it for 118. Got bless Priceline for getting my ass out of the frying pan, for way less than I expectred.
